Our delightful 3 bedroom cottage is situated on the Island’s tranquil village green, close to St. Marys Church, Lindisfarne Priory and the beach. The ruins of St. Cuthbert’s Chapel lie just offshore on Cuddy’s Island. Hedgehope Cottage’s location on the western edge of the village makes it an ideal base for exploring the spiritually and historically rich Holy Island, also the picturesque county of Northumberland and the Scottish Borders on foot or by car. Arrive and relax, let the magical atmosphere of Holy Island work and feel the stresses of modern life melt away in this haven of timelessly beautiful scenery. The Cottage has recently been re-furbished to provide you with warm and cosy yet spacious and fully equipped holiday accommodation for up to 6 guests. The Island is joined to the Northumberland mainland by a 3 mile causeway which is open twice a day at low tide. Lindisfarne Island is the perfect holiday destination. As an S.S.S.I and Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty The Island is very popular with artists, photographers, walkers and wildlife lovers. The beautiful scenery, history and atmosphere of Holy Island ensures that Lindisfarne is one of those special places that you will love!
